East Vancouver Breathes Creativity: A collaborative collection of street photography that
celebrates the artistry and grit of East Vancouver while capturing stillness in a world full of transient
moments. Meet me at the Lamp(p)ost revolves around the present and promotes contentment in self
and place. Founded in 2016 by Irish-born, Canadian residents Laura Noonan and Tara Mary Paget.
the self –taught pair focus predominately on exploring the landscape, people and architecture that
make up East Vancouver through place-specific street photography.
Calabash Bistro will house Meet me at the Lamp(p)ost’s latest collection from August 29 – Oct 1 2018
which will feature a limited edition collaboration with Vancouver-based, U.K. artist Petra Giffard. Join
us from 6.30PM on August 29th for a reggaecentric night of art and music! Stay late for a serving of
live reggae from 9PM presented by House Records!

About Petra Giffard: Petra Giffard brings her Vancouver series to Meet me at the Lamppost
where abstract landscape acrylics meet enhanced matte cityscapes. This very special collaboration
will debut on August 29th at Calabash Bistro to bring all corners of VanCity together under one big
reggae filled sky! See more of Petra’s work here: https://petragiffard.wordpress.com/
