Vancouver Designer presents at Tokyo Fashion Week
GRAPHIC DECOR PRINT IN DEMI-COUTURE COLLECTION BY VANCOUVER-BASED FASHION DESIGNER
Vancouver, BC / October 10, 2018 – Vancouver-based Atelier GRANDI will be heading to Tokyo, Japan to present its spring-summer 2019 collection, PRISMANIA, at Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo on October 18th.
“This will be our first international runway in Asia, and I’m excited to be showing a bold and artful collection. I think the stories, the colours and the quirky but sophisticated pieces will really speak to the Japanese audience”, says designer dressmaker Grandy.
Imbued in artistic details, the demi-couture collection features a pop art interpretation of the chinoiserie decor style. The large-scale, graphic print pattern, designed and produced by GRANDI in house, hosts a variety of surrealist surprises for those with sharp eyes.
The pantone colour palette makes each pieces in this collection compelling to stand alone yet effortless to mix-and-match.
Based in Vancouver, GRANDI is known for its striking artistic details and timeless silhouettes. All of the GRANDI demi-couture pieces are handmade, in limited quantities, in their exclusive Vancouver atelier.
GRANDI will present as part of Global Fashion Collective, a platform supporting creative designers from around the world, with the aim to accelerate the designer’s global development, increase their international media visibility, and open new markets.
